SonicWall has recently unveiled a comprehensive suite of products and services aimed at empowering Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to deliver holistic cyber protection and drive profitable service growth.

This launch features two next-generation firewalls, the NSa 2800 and NSa 3800, specifically designed for medium-sized businesses, offering advanced threat protection capabilities.

Additionally, the announcement introduces a new Managed Protection Service Suite (MPSS) for effective firewall management, supported by SonicWall’s SonicSentry network operations center (NOC) team, and the Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). The new cloud-native SonicPlatform is also available for centralized management of various products, services, and third-party integrations.

Bob VanKirk, SonicWall’s president and CEO, described these innovations as a “transformative phase” in the company’s progress toward becoming a leading cybersecurity platform provider.

“This launch combines top-tier firewall threat performance with cloud-based ZTNA to replace outdated VPNs, along with co-managed NOC and SOC services, and an industry-first cyber security warranty,” he stated, ensuring MSPs have the necessary tools to protect their client businesses in a scalable and cost-efficient manner.

SonicWall Enhances Firewall Support

With this expansion, SonicWall aims to eliminate disparate tools and minimize operational complexity, making it simpler for MSPs to provide secure and scalable solutions. The NSa 2800 and NSa 3800 firewalls are tailored for mid-sized enterprises, designed to meet the needs of environments with more complex threat landscapes.

Furthermore, SonicWall’s ZTNA solution includes a one-click ZTNA connector that enables secure, policy-based access. The Managed Protection Security Services (MPSS) for Firewall Management utilizes SonicWall’s upgraded SonicSentry NOC team to enhance partner capabilities and ensure comprehensive support for firewall configurations, deployments, and updates.

Leveraging Partner Insights

Peter Burke, SonicWall’s chief product officer, highlighted that the new features stem from feedback gathered from partners over the past two years. “We have significantly enhanced the scalability and features of our firewall management platform, integrating them into a cohesive solution that streamlines account, security, and network management,” he explained.

This consolidation allows partners to dedicate more focus on growth, expanding their service offerings, boosting profitability, and increasing customer satisfaction.

New Product Introductions

In addition, SonicWall has launched the scalable NSM 3.0 SaaS and on-premises platform, providing improved visibility and efficiency through integrated cloud and on-box management. MSPs can take advantage of the SonicPlatform, which centralizes management for all SonicWall appliances, services, and third-party tools.

Lastly, the integration of SonicWall AI for Monitoring & Insight (SAMI) introduces AI and automation to enhance management efficiency, expedite resolution times, and reduce alert fatigue.
