This year, the 33-year-old showcased his unique energy at the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, delivering a performance that was both spectacular and meaningful.
Alok isn’t hesitant to share his passions with a wider audience. His previous album, *The Future Is Ancestral*, was a collaborative project featuring 50 Indigenous Brazilian musicians, with royalties supporting those communities. Upon learning about his Coachella performance, Alok’s initial thoughts revolved around how to make his set distinct. Faced with the challenge of performing at Sahara Stage without typical pyrotechnics, he partnered with his creative director, Fabio Soares, to develop a unique concept within a tight timeframe.
