Relevance AI Secures $24 Million in Series B Funding
Relevance AI has successfully raised $24 million in a Series B funding round aimed at expanding its enterprise AI agent platform. The funding was primarily led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with additional contributions from existing investors like King River Capital, Insight Partners, and Peak XV.
Growth in AI Adoption
Operating out of both San Francisco and Sydney, Relevance AI is focused on providing AI-driven solutions that allow businesses to develop virtual workforces composed of specialized AI agents. The company has reported remarkable growth, with 40,000 agents created just in January 2025. Its clientele includes a diverse range of organizations from startups to Fortune 500 companies such as Qualified, Activision, and SafetyCulture.
Innovative Features Launched
Alongside the funding announcement, Relevance AI introduced two new features: ‘Workforce’ and ‘Invent.’ The ‘Invent’ feature is touted as a world-first, enabling users to create AI agents simply via text prompts, eliminating the need for coding skills. Meanwhile, the ‘Workforce’ feature allows users to build multi-agent systems that facilitate collaborative efforts across departments to manage complex business processes efficiently.
Leadership Insights
Daniel Vassilev, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, stated, “This funding supports our goal of making Relevance AI the leading platform for AI workforce solutions. We envision a future where organizations are only limited by their creativity, not their staffing capabilities. By 2025, firms lacking an agent-building platform will face a significant competitive handicap.”
Transforming Business Processes
Jacky Koh, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, emphasized that the ‘Invent’ feature transforms how AI agents are developed. Instead of adjusting AI to fit human workflows, it allows companies to construct their processes around AI capabilities from the outset. This feature enables domain experts to articulate their needs in natural language, resulting in the quick generation of specialized agents.
AI Agent Versatility
Relevance AI distinguishes itself from traditional automation tools by empowering users to create AI agents that can make contextual decisions and manage non-linear workflows. This capability opens opportunities for automating tasks previously deemed too complex, equipping agents to comprehend specific business processes and industry-specific jargon.
Testimonials from Business Leaders
Mike Welch, Managing Director at SafetyCulture, highlighted the quick ROI from their initial agent deployment, expressing excitement about scaling this technology throughout their organization. Likewise, Kraig Swensrud, Founder and CEO of Qualified, praised Relevance AI’s platform for its ease of use, which allows domain experts to train specialized agents tailored to their unique business needs without requiring coding knowledge.
